    Mac OS X Public Beta does not produce sound in Classic applications when used on a Power Mac G4 Cube computer.

DISCUSSION

    Symptom

    Mac OS X Public Beta system sound works, but sound is not produced by applications open in the Classic environment. Sound works normally in applications written to run natively in Mac OS X Public Beta.
