    Using a Mac OS 9.0.x-compatible screen saver in the Classic environment may interfere with the normal functioning of non-Classic applications.

DISCUSSION

    Most screen saver applications are activated by periods of system inactivity. If a screen saver is installed and active in the Classic environment, it may be activated while you are working in a non-Classic application.

    To prevent this from happening, you should turn off or uninstall the screen saver as directed by the documentation that came with the software.
