Solution This can happen due to a physical network failure, a change in network design, or a change to your computer's Network preferences. When this happens: The steps used to log in to your computer when the NetInfo server is unavailable depend on which version of Mac OS X you are using. For Mac OS X Public Beta:
2. If you do not have a local user account or lack Admin privileges, log in with the user name "System Administrator" and the password originally entered when the Setup Assistant was first used. If you did not set up the computer, consult with the network administrator or computer owner. For Mac OS X Server:
