    You cannot connect to network volumes using the Connect to Server option in the Network Browser in the Classic environment of Mac OS X Public Beta.


DISCUSSION

    Symptom

    When attempting to use the Connect to Server option in the Network Browser, the login screen repeats after you click Connect.

    Solution

    There are two alternative methods for connecting to a server:
    • Use the Classic Chooser.
    • Choose Connect to Server from the Go menu in the Finder.
