    Deleting multiple records from an AppleWorks 6.1 database may cause the application to quit unexpectedly.

DISCUSSION

    Symptom

    AppleWorks unexpectedly quits with an "Error Type 2," and unsaved changes to your database may be lost.

    Solution

    This issue has been addressed with the AppleWorks 6.1.2 Update, available at http://www.apple.com/swupdates . If you have installed AppleWorks 6.1, you should update to 6.1.2.
