    Do any floppy disks come with the Performa 600? (I heard that Apple doesn't
    supply any System disks with this computer.)

DISCUSSION


    Because System software is installed on the hard drive, no System disks are
    included in the box. You can purchase the System 7 disk set separately if you
    wish.

    The Performa 600 does come with a Performa Utilities disk, which contains a
    backup and restore program to restore your system software in the event of a
    system crash or corruption.

    Among the first things you should do when you get your system:

    1) Purchase some blank high-density disks.

    2) Use the backup software to back up your Performa 600's hard disk to
    floppies. This way, you will be able to restore your System software
    if you have a crash.
