    What is the difference between Ofoto calibration and ColorSync matching?

DISCUSSION

    Ofoto provides a closed-loop device-to-device matching, whereas ColorSync provides device-independent matching. This means that Ofoto will work as long as the scan is printed on the intended device. ColorSync provides the best possible results no matter what the eventual device is.

    ColorSync is available only for the Macintosh, and there isn't a Windows version.
