This article discusses the StyleWriter II printer's paper handling and adjustments.

DISCUSSION

    Paper Handling
    --------------
The StyleWriter II has an integral paper feed mechanism that provides accurate paper handling from envelope to legal size in paper weights of 16 to 24 lbs. The paper feeder tray can hold 100 (20 pound) sheets or 15 envelopes. If paper heavier than 20 lbs. is used, then the paper feeder tray supports fewer sheets. You can also print transparencies.

NOTE: No manual paper feed is provided.

    Adjusting for Heavier Paper
    ---------------------------
Printing on materials that are heavier (thicker) than regular paper, including envelopes, transparencies, labels, and heavier paper, requires the two paper thickness levers be adjusted. One lever is next to the sheet feeder; the other is inside the printer, just above the ink cartridge.

    * For normal paper, the paper thickness levers should be set to the "paper" setting (shown by the icon of a piece of paper with its corner turned down).

    * To adjust the thickness levers for heavier paper, move both levers to the "envelope" setting (with the icon of an envelope).
