TOPIC

    How many internal SCSI devices can be installed in the Macintosh Quadra 800, 840av and Power Macintosh 8100 and 8500 series computers?

DISCUSSION

    Because of space limitations, up to three internal SCSI devices can be placed into these computers. The primary variables are the type and capacity of drives you want.

    * One 3.5-inch hard disk.

    * One half-height 5.25-inch device such as an internal CD-ROM player.

    * One full- height 3.5-inch device such as a removable cartridge drive,
    DAT drive, or another SCSI hard disk.

    IMPORTANT: Modification of the internal components of your computer may void your warranty. Contact an Apple-authorized service provider for installation assistance.
