TOPIC

    I cannot print to a StyleWriter II from a Macintosh that has 1 MB of RAM and System Software 6.0.7. The StyleWriter II product specification sheet says that this configuration should work.

DISCUSSION

    A Macintosh with 1 MB RAM works with the StyleWriter II with this configuration only:

    * Minimum installation script in the installer.
    * StyleWriter II Print Driver (only).
    * TrueType INIT only (no other INITs, control panels or other
    system additions).
    * Minimum fonts.
    * MultiFinder turned off.
    * RAM cache off.
    * Print color or grayscale images in black-and-white mode.

    For optimum performance, Apple recommends a minimum of 2MB RAM.
