    Is the StyleWriter II compatible with the Apple IIe Card?

DISCUSSION


    Yes, when using version 2.0 or later of the Apple IIe Card software, the
    StyleWriter II is compatible with the Apple IIe Card.

    With version 2.0 or later of the IIe Card software, all printing
    requested from the Apple IIe Card environment is sent from the "printer slot"
    to the Macintosh Print Manager. Any printer, therefore, that is compatible
    with the Macintosh Chooser is compatible with the Apple IIe Card.


    To check which printer the Apple IIe Card will print to, follow these steps:

    1) From the Apple IIe environment, bring up the IIe Option Panel by pressing
    the Control, Command, and Escape keys at the same time. You will see icons
    representing the configurable parts of the IIe environment.

    2) Double-click the Printer Card icon on the left side of the Option Panel.
    This will produce a screen which will display (among other things) which
    printer the IIe Card will print to.
