    What are the pinouts for a cable connecting an IBM PC to a LaserWriter Pro?

    Here are the Pin Assignments for the IBM DB-9 and LaserWriter Pro DB-9

    1 DCD
    2 RxD
    3 TxD
    4 DTR
    5 SG
    6 DSR
    7 RTS
    8 CTS
    9 Ring Indicator (not implemented)

    In terms of the communications settings, we would suggest thumbwheel switch setting #9 on the LaserWriter Pro 630. It's default parameter set is for PostScript serial 9600, n,8,1,XON/XOFF, binary.
