    This article discusses how to set the paper adjustment dial on the
    Portable StyleWriter.


DISCUSSION


    The paper thickness adjustment is a thumbwheel (dial) that is detented
    in one of the three positions. The positions are "sheet" position, a
    "center" position (marked with a dot) and the "envelope" position.
    The thumbwheel is located on the right bottom of the printer.

    The paper thickness setting should be set to:
    * Sheet position: for sheet paper
    * Center position: for sheet paper with graphics and transparencies
    * Envelope position: for envelopes and heavy stock paper.

    Without the optional sheet feeder the user can load one sheet of paper
    or envelope at a time into the printer. Paper can be printed while
    the printer is horizontally or vertically oriented. To print
    envelopes the printer must be in the vertical position.
