TOPIC This article describes the Apple QuickTake 100 Digital Camera for Macintosh. DISCUSSION Overview The Apple QuickTake 100 Digital Camera for Macintosh is a 24-bit color still digital video camera. You can take up to 32 standard-resolution or 8 high-resolution images at a time (which are stored in the QuickTake 100's internal memory), then you can download your images into a Macintosh computer. The Apple QuickTake 100 has automatic exposure and flash, along with simple controls for ease of use. Once you've connected your QuickTake 100 to your Macintosh with the included serial cable, you can use the QuickTake software to download your images. You can also control and run the camera from your Macintosh, so images appear on screen as they are taken.
Your downloaded images can be rotated, cropped or scaled, then saved in PICT, TIFF or QuickTake file formats for placing in word processing, presentation or publishing applications.
