Overview
The Apple Macintosh Performa 630, and CD-ROMðequipped Performa 630CD computers are the most flexible Apple multimedia systems. Both are upgradeable to take advantage of PowerPC technology, so they can bring you multimedia opportunities for years to come.
Packed in one box are the computer, display, keyboard, mouse, and fax/modem, as well as operating system software. In addition, both computers include 15 useful home, education, and home-business soft-ware programs, and the Performa 630CD includes valuable CD-ROM reference titles. Like all Macintosh computers, they're both very easy to learn about and use, and they run thousands of Macintosh education, business, and multimedia programs.
Both computers have advanced multimedia expansion options that offer new ways to interact with information. You can connect each to an external video source such as a VCR or camcorder to cut and paste video images. You can also add an option to connect your computer to a large-screen TV for displaying presentations. And you can add an internal TV tuner to view television channels in a window on your display.
