    This article describes the Energy Saver (for monitors) compatibility issue with Power Macintosh 6100/60 and 6100/60AV using the built in HDI-45 video port (AudioVision Display Port).

DISCUSSION


    Energy Saver does not work on a Power Macintosh 6100/60 or 6100/60AV using the HDI-45 port unless one of following is installed on your Power Macintosh:

    * PowerPC Enabler version 1.02
    * System 7.5

    Note: System Update 3.0 which included PowerPC Enabler 1.01 did not fix this problem.
