    Step 1
Copy any files you want to save onto a hard disk or floppy disk.

    Step 2
If you want to resize or remove a RAM disk, you need to first
    remove the items on it.

    Step 3
Drag everything on the RAM disk to the Trash.

    Step 4
Choose Empty Trash from the Special menu.

    Step 5
Choose Control Panels from the Apple menu.

    Step 6
    Open the Memory control panel.

    Step 7
Drag the lever to choose the percentage of available memory you
want to use for your RAM disk.
Or click the Off button, if you want to remove the RAM disk.

    Note:
You can't change the RAM disk setting while there are files
    on the RAM disk.

    Step 8
    Close the Control Panel.

    Step 9
Choose Restart from the Special menu.

If you resized your RAM disk, a new RAM disk icon appears on the
desktop when the computer restarts. If you removed your RAM disk,
    no icon appears.
