    Is it possible to set up a Windows NT file system from the DOS Compatibility
    Card for the Power Macintosh?

DISCUSSION


    Any operating system that accesses hardware directly fails on the DOS Compatibility Card. Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups 3.11, OS/2, and OS/2 Warp fall into this category. OS/2, OS/2 Warp, and Windows NT will not run on the DOS Compatibility Card.

    However Windows for Workgroups 3.11 will run in a limited fashion on the DOS Compatibility Card. You can use any function of this application that does not require direct hardware access (The Tech Info Library Article "DOS Compatibility Card: Using Windows for Workgroups 3.11" Provides installation instructions).
