DISCUSSION Overview ======== The Apple Macintosh Performa 640CD DOS Compatible computer is the perfect choice for your family when you want to keep your compatibility options open. It runs DOS, Windows, and Macintosh applications simultaneously, which essentially makes it two advanced CD multimedia computers in one. The Performa 640CD DOS Compatible features dual microprocessors. Its 68LC040 processors provide excellent performance for easy-to-use Mac OS applications, while its 486DX2 processor delivers strong performance for DOS and Windows applications. Because it's DOS-compatible, you can now easily use DOS and Windows applications, CDs, and games on a Macintosh.
