DISCUSSION The Apple Power Macintosh 9600/200MP and 9600/200 computers are the top of the line in speed, performance, expandability, and upgradability, which is tremendous news for publishers--particularly those who are working with advanced color--as well as for multimedia professionals and engineers. The Power Macintosh 9600/200MP computer is a multiprocessor system with two 200-megahertz PowerPC 604e chips, which provides simple, but powerful performance improvements for applications that take advantage of its multiprocessing capabilities. The Power Macintosh 9600/200 features a single 200-megahertz PowerPC 604e processor.
