TOPIC

I just installed Mac OS 8.1 on my computer, which has a Zip drive built-in from Apple. After installing, I noticed that there are no Iomega Tools in the Apple Extras folder on my hard drive. In older versions of the Mac OS, I used to find this software installed by default. Where can I get this software with Mac OS 8.1?

DISCUSSION

On the Mac OS 8.1 CD, there is a folder called CD Extras. In this folder, users will find a folder called Iomega Tools which includes Iomega's software version 5.0.3 for the Zip drive. This software is no longer installed by default. You can also download Zip drive software from Iomega's web site.
