The behavior of the Internet Assistant is not correctly described by the Mac OS Info Center.
DISCUSSION The Internet Assistant will allow you to enter settings for an existing Internet Service Provider (ISP) but it will not allow you to modify any settings. If you respond that you don't have an ISP it will launch Total Access. Total Access software lets you sign up with Earthlink (an ISP). On the iMac there is are two aliases named Internet Dialer. However, they are only aliases to the Remote Access control panel. |
