TOPIC

This article describes the SuperDisk USB disk drive from Imation. The drive is available from the Apple Store.

DISCUSSION

    At A Glance

Designed especially for the Apple iMac computer, the SuperDisk USB Drive reads and writes standard diskettes as well as 120MB SuperDisk diskettes--in Mac and PC formats. Each SuperDisk diskette holds as much as 85 diskettes can.

New USB technology offers better plug- and- play features, including the ability to "hot plug" devices in and out while the computer is running. (Not recommended while the drive is in use. To ensure data integrity, the diskette should be ejected before unplugging the drive.)
