I live outside of North America and I would like to install QuickTime 4. Can I do this?
DISCUSSION As of this writing (June 11, 1999), QuickTime 4 is available only for North American English operating systems. Installing the North American English version of QuickTime 4 over non-North American English operating systems could result in duplicate extensions and unexpected behavior. Because of this, Apple strongly recommends that customers with non-North American English operating systems do not install the North American English version of QuickTime 4.0, but wait for the appropriate localized versions. Apple expects to localize QuickTime 4 for most languages in the near future. |
