Can I use the PowerBook G3 Series, PowerBook G3 Series (Bronze keyboard), PowerBook (FireWire), or iBook as a speakerphone and voice mail system?
DISCUSSION The modems in PowerBook G3 Series, PowerBook G3 Series (Bronze keyboard), and iBook computers do not support voice and cannot function as a speakerphone. The modem may work with some third-party voice mail applications, but Apple does not support the use of these applications. Note: Macintosh PowerBook G3 Series computers should not be confused with Macintosh PowerBook G3 computers. Though the names are similar, there are significant differences.
