TOPIC

While logged in to the Panels or Limited environments of Multiple Users, opening the Network Browser presents the following dialog box:

"The NSL Plugin "DNS Plugin" could not be loaded. Make sure your network and network settings are configured correctly. You may continue, since at least one plugin is available."

AppleTalk browsing may be the only service available, though you can manually connect to TCP/IP services by selecting "Connect to Server..." and entering a hostname or URL.

DISCUSSION

Apple has identified this issue and is working on a resolution. You can dismiss the dialog box and still use the Network Browser to access AppleTalk and TCP/IP services. You just won't see these services advertised initially. If you need to see these services, use the following workaround:

Use the "Connect to Server..." option to connect to a server, or simply attempt to connect to host.mydomain.com and allow the request to time out. After this, all services should appear in the main Network Browser window.
