    I own a MessagePad 120 with Newton Operating System (NOS) version 1.3. How can I upgrade the MessagePad to NOS 2.0?

DISCUSSION

    Beginning on December 1, 1995, customers with a 1 or 2MB version of the MessagePad 120, with the Newton 1.x OS, were given an option to pay $109 to upgrade their MessagePads to the Newton OS 2.0. The upgrade program was only available through Apple Computer, and officially ended on October 28, 1997.
