The PowerBook ZoomedVideo file is a system extension that enhances system stability on PowerBook 3400 series, PowerBook 2400/180, and PowerBook G3 computers when running video conferencing applications using the Zoomed Video port. Who Needs to Install the PowerBook ZoomedVideo extension?
Any PowerBook 3400 series, PowerBook 2400/180, or PowerBook G3 computers running Mac OS 8.1 or earlier with a Zoomed Video PC Card should install the new PowerBook ZoomedVideo extension.
Installing the PowerBook ZoomedVideo extension
To install the PowerBook ZoomedVideo extension, follow these steps.
- While holding down the Option key, drag the PowerBook ZoomedVideo extension to the icon of the System Folder on your hard disk.
- Click OK in the dialog box that appears.
- If you had an earlier version of the PowerBook ZoomedVideo extension installed, a second dialog box will appear, asking if you would like to replace the earlier version. Click OK.
- Restart the computer.
