    I'm trying to install my LaserWriter 12/640 software after installing OS 8.x, but the installer says it cannot find "Finder help" and will not let me proceed.

DISCUSSION

    The version of LaserWriter 8 that is included with Mac OS 8.x is newer than the one that comes on the 12/640 CD. If you need to install the fonts that came with the 12/640, simply choose custom install in the 12/640 installer and select only the fonts for installation.
