    This article describes compatibility of the Vicom Internet Gateway 3.8.3 software with AppleShare IP.

DISCUSSION

    The AppleShare IP companion CD that ships with the Macintosh Server G3 contains Vicom Internet Gateway 3.8.3. The earliest version of Vicom Internet Gateway supported by Vicom Technology is 3.9.3. Updaters from version 3.8.3 to 3.9.3 are available for download from Vicom's Web site:

    Customers can also pay to upgrade Vicom Internet Gateway to version 4.5 or later.
