Customers may call saying the Now Up to Date/Now Contact registration fails to send when the user selects electronic(modem).
DISCUSSION The Now Up to Date registration program only looks at the Printer/Modem port for the modem, it does not work with the internal modem. Until this gets resolved the best recommendation for the customer is to print and then fax the registration form or fax it directly if they have installed FaxSTF to Qualcomm(Now Software) at 503/274-6390. Note : Macintosh PowerBook G3 Series computers should not be confused with Macintosh PowerBook G3 computers. Though the names are similar, there are significant differences. To visually identify which type of computer you have, close the display and inspect the display case. A Macintosh PowerBook G3 has a small, six-color Apple logo on the display case. A Macintosh PowerBook G3 Series computer has a large Apple logo on the display case that is not six-colored. |
