Why ClarisWorks with iMac instead of AppleWorks?

ClarisWorks is AppleWorks iMac ships with ClarisWorks 5.0v1. In announcing iMac, Apple has said that it would ship with a program called "AppleWorks. ClarisWorks is AppleWorks. When Apple's Claris division was restructured into FileMaker, Inc. the company announced that it would continue development of ClarisWorks under the name AppleWorks. Apple has not yet released an updated version of ClarisWorks under the AppleWorks name. ClarisWorks 5.0v2 Updater AppleWorks 5.0.3 Updater updates U.S. versions of ClarisWorks 5.0v1 and 5.0v2 for Macintosh to the current U.S. release of AppleWorks 5.0.3 for Macintosh. This Updater does not update any international versions of ClarisWorks. AppleWorks 5.0.3 is a maintenance release which changes the branding and look of ClarisWorks to AppleWorks. It addresses 14 bugs in the 5.0v1 release, but there are no functional changes from 5.0v2. The ClarisWorks application, Assistants, AppleScript files, HTML translator, and "HTML config assistant" are updated. A number of files are also moved and/or renamed.
