In AppleShare IP (ASIP) 6.1, I sometimes see guest ftp connections that will not disconnect. If I try to manually disconnect the user in AppleShare IP Web & File Admin, they will not go away.
DISCUSSION
Apple has investigated this issue and has determined that this may happen after a file has been downloaded with a guest ftp connection using Internet Explorer 4.0 for Windows. It does not seem to occur with Internet Explorer 5.0 for Windows or any other ftp clients. This issue is resolved with AppleShare IP 6.2, which can be downloaded from the Apple Software Updates web site. This article can help you locate the software update mentioned here: |
