    This article tells how to determine whether the Apple Modem Updater 1.3.5 has been preinstalled on your computer.

DISCUSSION

    The iMac 266 MHz and 333 MHz computers' internal modem already includes version 2.2 of the Rockwell firmware which contains the latest versions of both the V.90 and K56flex protocols. They also include the same revised modem scripts (CCLs) which are part of the Apple Modem Updater 1.3.5 software bundle.
