    Symptom
    An iMac (Slot Loading) computer connected to the Internet using PPP may not respond after it is put to sleep.

    Product affected
    iMac (Slot Loading) computers with Mac OS 8.6 or Mac OS 9.0.

    Solution
    • Upgrade to Mac OS 9.
    • Use the Software Update control panel to download and install Mac OS 9 Update (9.0.4) or later. You can also download Mac OS 9.0.4 from Apple Software Updates at http://www.apple.com/swupdates/ .
