I have Mac OS X Server 1.0.2 installed on my Macintosh Server G3. The retail version of Mac OS X Server mentions an updater. Where is this updater? How can I upgrade to Mac OS X Server 1.2?
DISCUSSION The About Mac OS X Server Release 1.2 documentation, which ships with Mac OS X Server 1.2, refers to a Mac OS Server Updater. This is an error in the document. The Updater did not ship with the retail version of Mac OS X Server 1.2. Apple will provide an upgrade for existing customers to the new version, which will be available on CD only. Apple has decided not to post a downloadable version of the update. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. The upgrade is designed to update an existing Mac OS X Server installation. The update will be released soon as a multi lingual CD. Please check the Mac OS X Server Web site at http://www.apple.com/macosx/server/ for more details. |
