DISCUSSION

    Symptom

    Changes to the network settings (TCP/IP or AppleTalk) do not take effect.

    Solution

    Restart the computer. Mac OS X Public Beta requires that the computer be restarted after changing the TCP/IP or AppleTalk settings.
