The QuickTime pane in System Preferences does not provide a way to enter a QuickTime Pro registration key.

Solution

A version of QuickTime settings that allows you to input the QuickTime Pro Registration Key is available in the GrabBag folder. To access QuickTime Settings :

1. Open a Finder window.
2. Click Apps.
3. Open the GrabBag folder.
4. Open the QuickTime folder.
5. Double-click QuickTime Settings.
6. Choose Registration from the pop-up menu.
7. Click Enter Registration.
8. Enter the QuickTime Pro Registration Key.
9. Click OK.

Note: These steps must be completed each time Mac OS X Public Beta is reinstalled.
