TOPIC This article describes an issue with iBook (FireWire) computers and Kensington TurboRing trackball drivers.
DISCUSSION
Symptom The iBook (FireWire) computer's trackpad does not respond when Kensington TurboRing trackball drivers are installed. This occurs whether the trackball is connected or not.
Products affected Solution 1. Disable the Kensington ADB Startup extension. 2. Restart the computer. For more information on extension troubleshooting, please see article 30929: " Mac OS: Extensions Troubleshooting/Extensions Manager Features. "
