This article explains how to pick up and carry your iMac.

Note: Before moving your computer, make sure you've disconnected all cables and cords.
If you move your computer to another location, with one hand, grab the handle and with the other hand, hold the computer on the bottom front to help support the computer's weight.
Note: The handle will support the weight of the entire computer, but you may want to use two hands.
Important: The foot and bottom back cover handle should not be used to lift the computer. With one hand use the handle to carry the computer.
Use your other hand to support the computer up front under the monitor.
