How can I use the Calls application in the Newton OS 2.x Extras drawer with phone numbers containing an extension? When I try using the Calls application, it does not record the phone number extension in the phone field.

When a call is placed using the Calls application, a time stamp is placed at the bottom of the note section, which includes the full number and extension dialed. If you want to call again, you can tap Place Call, which creates a call slip for the person listed in the names field. The phone number does not contain the extension, but the extension information can be retrieved using the following steps:

1) Tap on Name

2) Tap on Other Name

The currently selected name appears in the Phones display.

3) Tap on the currently checked name.

The phone number is listed twice, with and without the extension.

4) Select the phone number with the extension.

5) Tap x to close the display and return to the phone slip

6) Tap Call to dial the number with the extension.
