TOPIC I have an AppleShare Client that mounts our AppleShare server at startup. After upgrading to AppleShare IP 5.0, it now mounts the same AppleShare volume twice. Once through AppleTalk and once through TCP/IP. Why? DISCUSSION This happens when the old AppleShare Prep file has an entry for the server using AppleTalk, then an entry is made with AppleShare IP 5.0 for the server through TCP/IP. To prevent the two volumes, you should throw away the AppleShare Prep file and create the TCP/IP entry for the server over again. |
