On some PowerBook 1400 computers the reset pin is too long. When pressure is applied to the I/O door, the reset pin is pressed.

Apple Computer, Inc. is aware of the issue and has shortened the reset pin. Contact Apple Computer, Inc. or your local Apple Reseller for information on a permanent solution. As a temporary workaround, avoid putting pressure on the rear door when carrying the PowerBook 1400.
