TOPIC

This information was provided by Claris Corporation on 16 March 1998, and incorporated into Apple Computer's Tech Info Library.

DISCUSSION

If a cell diplays a formula instead of the value it is supposed to be calculating, it is probably because:

    1) The formula is not preceded by an equal sign ("=") or

    2) The option "Display Formulas" is checked in the Display dialog, under the Options menu (Display Formulas is not an option in ClarisImpact).
