DISCUSSION

It is possible to lock several Rows and several Columns at once but the manual only covers how to lock columns or rows (page 6-26 of the ClarisWorks User's Guide). For example, let's say you wanted to lock Column A and Rows 1 & 2. Follow these instructions:

    1. Click to select Column header "A" (this will highlight the entire column).
    2. Choose Lock Title Position from the Options menu.
    3. Click and drag to select rows 1 & 2 at the far left to select entire rows.
    4. Choose Lock Title Position from the Options menu.

    To lock Column A & B and Rows 1 & 2:

    1. Click and drag to select Column header "A" and "B".
    2. Choose Lock Title Position from the Options menu.
    3. Click and drag to select rows 1 & 2 at the far left to select entire rows.
    4. Choose Lock Title Position from the Options menu.
