DISCUSSION

In ClarisDraw 1.0, when working with a paint frame that has a color depth of thousands or millions of colors, if you try to edit the colors in a gradient you will get unpredictable results.

    To reproduce:

    1. Launch ClarisDraw. You must begin with the 168-color palette as default
    2. Draw a paint frame. Change the paint frame setting to "Thousands" in the Resolution and Depth dialog box.
    3. Tear off the gradient palette.
    4. Double-click a gradient.
    5. Edit the colors.

You will see that, as you choose different colors, the gradient doesn't always use the correct ones.

The Claris graphics development team is aware of this issue.
