DISCUSSION
When opening a MacDraw Pro slide document with ClarisDraw 1.0v1, you may encounter some anomalies. For example, a landscape oriented slide document may open with a portrait orientation in ClarisDraw.
To specifically illustrate this, a sample MacDraw Pro slide show with a Document Size (from the Layout Menu) setting of 11.97 Width and 8.89 Height, opened in ClarisDraw with a width of 8.89 and a height of 6.67.
Also note that the new Slide Manager features of ClarisDraw open a document to the Master Slide, instead of to the first slide, as in MacDraw Pro. Upon conversion to ClarisDraw, use the slide navigation control at the lower left of the window to switch from Master Slide to one of the slides in your document.
If, after doing so, your slide still seems oriented incorrectly, you may need to choose Document Size from the Layout menu and enter an appropriate width and height. If necessary, choose Show Graphic Ruler from the View menu to give you guidelines on how wide and tall the page size will need to be to display your slide.
This issue is resolved with ClarisDraw 1.0v2.
