ClarisDraw will not import files from the original MacDraw. ClarisDraw does include a translator for MacDraw II, MacDraw Pro and PICT.

The best workaround is to use MacDraw to save your files to PICT format. Once the PICT files have been imported into ClarisDraw, you can use the Ungroup feature to separate the objects that make up the PICT.
