DISCUSSION

When you copy a task or resource timeline from MacProject Pro and paste it into a ClarisDraw document, only text appears, whereas pasting into a MacDraw Pro document yields a complete timeline.

    To see this behavior:

    1. Launch MacProject Pro.
    2. Select Task Timeline or Resource Timeline from the Chart menu and Select All.
    3. Copy and Quit.
    4. Launch ClarisDraw and Paste into a new document.
    5. Notice that only text appears.

The whole chart is pasted into the MacDraw Pro document because MacDraw Pro parses the private scrap type passed from MacProject Pro clipboard . This feature was omitted from ClarisDraw.
