We have received reports from customers who have tracked down problems they are having with Claris Emailer to a potential incompatibility with Speed Doubler by Connectix. Claris and Connectix have not confirmed this report but are in communication about it. Customers have reported that the problem seems to be specifically related to the Speed Access component of the Speed Doubler product.

Some customers report system crashes when Claris Emailer is unpacking messages it has just downloaded. Another report is system crashes when launching the Claris Emailer application.

Currently, the only workaround is to disable Speed Access. It is recommended that you run Disk First Aid or another hard disk repair tool to check your disk.
